In an open letter addressed to the three EU institutions, 24 NGOs call on the Council of the European Union, the Members of the European Parliament and the European Commission, to ensure that the revised EU Fisheries Control Regulation contributes to sustainable fisheries management that reduces the impact of fisheries on the marine environment and promotes the protection of species and ecosystems.
